Media Director, Gaming
Zach is a skilled marketer in interactive entertainment with more than 20 years of experience in the console and mobile games industry. Zach has worked in product marketing, assisting in the launch of several video game products and managing distribution accounts. He started his career at Acclaim Entertainment working on their action sports brands such as Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX before moving on to Majesco Entertainment where he worked on titles like Psychonauts, Bloodrayne and Age of Empires. He went on to serve as US Marketing Manager for Gameloft where he developed and implemented channel marketing strategies and tactics for Gameloft’s US carrier accounts on over 50 different titles per year. He then went on to work at Tangible Media for eight years where he held several managerial and supervisory positions including Account Director of Digital Media Strategy and AMD Digital. Zach’s expansive history has given him expertise in many areas of specialization such as new media testing, directing effective creative, media buying, and co-marketing partnerships. At PowerPhyl, he oversees digital media for the gaming vertical and integrating multiple media segments into the overall campaign strategy. Zach received his BA in Media Studies, with a minor in Information Systems and Statistical Analysis from Pennsylvania State University.
